SMOKY PEANUT
VEGAN SAUCE

INGREDIENTS :

  • 1/2 tsp. Danwood Smoked Oil®

​

  • 2 Tbsp. shelled peanuts

​

  • 1 Tbsp. minced shallots

​

  • 1 tsp. soy sauce

​

  • Salt, to taste

​

  • Water as needed

​

  • ​INSTRUCTIONS :

​

​

    •  In a small pan, heat Danwood Smoked Oil® over medium-high heat.

    • Add the peanuts and stir-fry until lightly browned and fragrant.

    • Remove from the pan and cool on a paper towel.

    • Deep-fry the shallots.

    • Using a mortar and pestle, combine the peanuts and the shallots to form a paste.

    • Combine the peanut paste, soy sauce, and salt.

    • Add the water (up to 2 Tbsp.) to create the desired dipping consistency.
