SMOKY PEANUT
VEGAN SAUCE


INGREDIENTS :

1/2 tsp. Danwood Smoked Oil®

2 Tbsp. shelled peanuts
-
1 Tbsp. minced shallots
-
1 tsp. soy sauce
-
Salt, to taste
-
Water as needed

INSTRUCTIONS :

In a small pan, heat Danwood Smoked Oil® over medium-high heat.

Add the peanuts and stir-fry until lightly browned and fragrant.

Remove from the pan and cool on a paper towel.

Deep-fry the shallots.
-
Using a mortar and pestle, combine the peanuts and the shallots to form a paste.
-
Combine the peanut paste, soy sauce, and salt.

Add the water (up to 2 Tbsp.) to create the desired dipping consistency.
